BMW Other description

Up for sale is my 2005 Dakar, I am the second owner and have had it it since the Spring of 2007. Always has been garaged stored. Had 9,767 miles when I purchased it in 2007. Been a great bike but do not have the time to ride it as much as I would like to. Has BMW hard bags, PIAA lights, Helmet locks, LED tail lights, Heated grips, Accessory plug. The bike came from Second Wind BMW and all major service has been down there as well. Some small jobs like tires and chain I have had done at the local shop. This bike is incredible on dirt roads and heavy enough to ride the highway and not get blown around. Great Northern New England bike. Put $2,564.00 into it last summer, less than 500 hundred miles since. Have all the paperwork and invoices to show the work. $5,500 or best reasonable offer.

How to destroy a GoPro

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

That scraping sound you can hear is a mixture of a knee slider and the GoPro camera housing grazing the tarmac at Mugello. The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.
