BMW Other description

2005 BMW K1200S, When it rains it pours and Bob???s has been lucky enough to have more than one of these superb K1200S???s become available to our customers this fall. This one is exceptionally fine condition and has just received a through freshening on top of the original fine shape it arrived in, plus it???s nicely equipped for your riding pleasure as the old advertisements used to pitch. Sold new at Bob???s back in August of 2005 it remained in the area ever since. Bob???s and one other authorized dealership performed any warranty upgrades BMW called for over the years and the most recent was just handled here at Bob???s ??? a simple retrofitting of the timing chain guard tensioner. The bike has been thoroughly inspected and critiqued so that it handily passed the strict Maryland State Inspection along with the tougher and exclusive Bob???s ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED program. We also installed a fresh tire on the front and the rear is near new, both now have Nitrogen in them. We also completed the 24,000 mile/annual service which includes all fluids and filters except the fuel which is done at an earlier service interval. We installed as set of foam grips covers and in general just gave it some loving attention which even included a seat swap from another bike in our warehouse to make this one even more perfect. One final extended test ride by a master BMW tech confirmed that this bike runs and operates well and the ABS and clutch are all solid.Getting headed towards what it looks like, it looks beautiful in BMW Indigo Blue and Alpine White with a fine fading pattern of contrasting squares accenting the fairing lines from front to tank. This one sports the all black chassis and driveline plus the silver multi-spoke alloy wheels and a dark tint MRA screen with an adjustable spoiler at the top edge. A BMW Multivario tank bag is included and is attached via quick release snaps so it???s easy to take or leave at home as your riding demands. It has a Bob???s throttle lock/wrist rest, heated grips, MV bar risers which are adjustable, Integral ABS and BMW

New car firm shows interest in bikes too

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

NORMALLY we wouldn’t get terribly excited about an electric moped but this as-yet-unreleased design comes from a new firm that’s already making waves in the car industry. Qoros might not be a name you’re familiar with. The firm has yet to start selling cars in Europe, although that will change soon.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
