EICMA 2013: 2014 BMW R1200RT First Impressions Video

The R1200RT has gone liquid cooled, inheriting the new boxer engine with BMW’s “precision cooling” technology from the new R1200GS. But that’s not all that’s changed on the RT as Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke points out in the video below from the 2013 EICMA show floor. Michelin Launches New Pilot Road 4 Sport-Touring Tire

Coming in 2014 is an all-new range of motorcycle tires from Michelin, available in three versions: the Michelin Pilot Road 4, Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT and Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail. Covering virtually every category of sport-touring motorcycle, the Pilot Road 4 line is well suited for motorcycles over 600cc. They were designed to deliver maximum safety in the most common conditions of use, especially on wet roads and in particular when braking. In its press release Michelin also claims extended tire life, which we assume is in comparison to the Pilot Road 3.

BMW 4-Series Convertible Revealed in Leaked Images

In recent months, numerous prototypes of the upcoming 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible have been spotted testing. As a result of the seemingly lengthy development time of the drop-top version of the new 4-Series, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for the car’s official release. While the car remains unreleased, a few images of the new BMW 4-Series Convertible have leaked online apparently sourced from an official brochure for the new car.
