BMW K-Series description

I have a 2008 BMW K1200S motorcycle with 1099 original documented mileage. I bought the bike new . This bike has a lot of power and is fully loaded with Electronic suspension adjustment(ESA) Anti Spin Control (ASC),Tire pressure monitor(TPM), (ABS) braking system, onboard computer, heated grips. The bike comes with a BMW battery tender, which keeps the battery from overcharging while maintaining a full charge.I have installed a sargent touring seat,MRA tinted touring windscreen, rear luggage rack,HPE full stainless /carbon fiber undertail exhaust,Evolunionize filter kit,Tech specs tank protector ,Z-technik carbon fiber tank protector. This is German engineering at it`s finest. This bike is very smooth to ride with the shaft drive single side swingarm and inline 4 cylinder engine stock to run at 167hp,0-60 2.8 seconds. The bike is in showroom condition. This is the most comfortable user friendly bike you can buy. All sales are final. The bike is exactly as I have described in my listing. The bike will need a battery as this one is 2 years old. All stock parts are to go with the bike. This bike is compliant to California emission control. I have taken a picture of the label. Good luck.danhskinner at g mail.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

No Thru Road: Confessions of a Traveling Man

Author of five books and thousands of articles, Clement Salvadori’s newest tome takes its reader on 30 varying trips around the world. From kick-starting a 500cc Single at 17,200 feet in the Tibetan Himalayas to riding to Pamplona, Spain, in 1960 to run with the bulls, the 416-page book is an adventure-travel enthusiast’s dream. An excerpt from chapter one, Afghanistan 1973, reads: “While working at the American embassy in Rome I decided that after five years I did not want to continue my career as a diplomat.
