BMW K-Series description

Garage Kept BMW K1200LT, bike is on a battery tender when in the garage. This bike is well maintained by a BMW Certified Mechanic. As much as I love this bike - I have only ridden it 1,500 miles in the last year. It deserves to be ridden by someone with more time than I have. Equipped with GPS, AM/FM radio, CD Player. Electronic Windshield. Cup Holder. Extra LED Driving lights are installed. Heated seat and grips. The bike came from the factory with a power center stand. When the power center stand failed several years ago BMW told me there were two parts that could fail. One cost $6.00 - the other was $1,400. The failed part was the expensive one. I had the dealer remove the power center stand and replace it with a manual center stand from a 2004 K1200LT. The tires were replaced last year. The radio was replaced 4 years ago. Battery is new. The drivers backrest is not in the picture, but comes with the bike. The windshield is an aftermarket upgrade. This bike handles like a dream, on the back streets, on country roads, on the superhighway you couldn't ask for a better ride. Very capable to handle riding two up for long periods. Located in Northern Virginia - I can deliver in the Mid Atlantic States for a modest fee. Most motorcycle enthusiasts are probably unfamiliar with the Midual brand. Originally formed in 1992 by entrepreneur Olivier Midy, Midual was an obscure French brand best known for introducing a 875cc roadster concept in 1999. What made the concept noteworthy was the company’s decision to use a transversely-mounted flat-twin engine.

Could This Innovative New Light Save Your Life?

Everyone knows brake lights are to alert drivers behind you, but what about when you roll off the throttle, and tailgating drivers fail to notice your decreasing rate of speed? Would you like them to know you’re decelerating, rather than potentially becoming another statistic? Nikkos Designs of Fort Myers, Fla.
