2007 Aprilia Tuono 1000 R FACTORY, 2007 Aprilia Tuono Factory. 9000 miles. Clean title. TONS of ad-ons: - Ohlins steering damper - CRG Arrow mirrors - CRG shorty levers - evotech exhaust hangers - tail tidy (also, evotech I think) - Gilles rearsets (in black) - Rizoma reservoir (in black) - Rizoma bars (in black) - Laminar Lip touring screen - Akrapovic exhaust & map 2 - 15/42 gearing - euro (clear) tail light - LED mini turn signals front & rear - gas tank is Caswell sealed (double coated) to protect against tank stretch from ethanol (a problem with these Acerbis plastic tanks that Ducati and Aprilia were using at the time). The bike has been custom painted: WRX Silver with 3 layers of clear: one tinted, one with extra flake, and the final layer of clear. The frame has been painted black. The end result is a very classy Tuono Factory that doesnt scream look at my racy paint job, every time someone looks at it. It also has just about everything youd want to bolt onto the bike already on it. I still have most of the original parts in boxes (turn signals, gears, rearsets, etc.). Asking $8250. Aprilia Reportedly Developing 250cc Sportbike
Mon, 25 Feb 2013For a company with such a rich history in motorcycle racing including nine World Championships in the 250cc Grand Prix category, it comes as a bit of a surprise Aprilia does not already have a 250cc sportbike in production. From 1994 to 2007, Aprilia won nine 250cc Grand Prix championships with an impressive roster of riders which includes Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Jorge Lorenzo, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri winning titles. Despite making a name for itself racing in the 250cc class, Aprilia does not have a 250cc production sportbike to compete against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 (and its replacement, the Ninja 300) or the Honda CBR250R.

Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
2014 Aprilia RSV4 WSBK Livery Revealed – The Silver Fireball
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Aprilia waited until just a few days before the start of the 2014 World Superbike Championship to reveal the livery on its RSV4 Superbike. Most of the other factory teams revealed their liveries weeks ago, but now that we’ve seen the “silver fireball” look the RSV4, we can say the wait was worth it. The new silver look replaces the predominantly red and black look used the past few seasons.
