1978 Yamaha XS 1100 Clear New York State Title, 2017 Registration, Plated and Insured. Everything has been chopped off this motorcycle, yet it still passed the NYS Inspection. Everything works to make the motorcycle street legal and it runs. If this is your first motorcycle, you may want to reconsider your other choices. This Yamaha has a rigid rear end with no shocks. However, I did install springs on the solo seat to absorb some of the impact. Shinko tires have about 1000 gentle miles on them. Seriously though, if you have never ridden a motorcycle before, this bike is too fast for you. No Reserve Auction. I will not ship this bike anywhere. Purchaser most arrange for pick up. Yamaha Files Patents for Leaning Three-Wheeled Electric Scooter
Fri, 29 Aug 2014Yamaha has filed a number of patents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office for an electric three-wheeled scooter. Unlike the Yamaha Tricity which has two wheels at the front and a third wheel at the rear, the patents are for a scooter with two rear wheels, each driven by an electric hub motor.

Wed, 11 Jan 2012On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.
