Suzuki GS description

This is an almost complete project and has been garage kept since I bought it. Just needs a little electrical work and putting back on some plastic covers. I rode the bike earlier this year and then the starter went bad. I paid a mechanic to check it out and he tore it apart then handed me back the pieces. I put it back together for the most part but I don't have an extensive knowledge of electrical work. It currently has a new (used) working starter, a brand new voltage regulator and a brand new air filter. I rigged a new aftermarket solenoid to a new momentary switch and the bike will turn over with ease but it isn't getting spark to the plugs. I know that it is probably something simple (like a bad ground?) but like I said, I don't know enough about electrical to fix it. If you want to hear it turn over,(Scott) 740-591-36O8 call/text. I am available 6pm-10pm EST most nights and could walk out to the garage and let you hear it turn over. Again, I rode this bike earlier this year and shouldn't need much work. I just don't have the time and abilities.

This bike is also being sold WITH an ORIGINAL SHOP MANUAL!!!!! Value of about $50+!!!!!

I clocked the mpg (before the starter went bad) at around 50mpg. So it would be a GREAT STARTER or COMMUTER BIKE. I recently cleaned the carbs. I also just put an aftermarket in-line fuel filter and an in-line fuel shut-off value (the pedcock will need to be rebuilt at some point if you want to get rid of the in-line shut-off but it isn't necessary). This bike has great acceleration for its size. I am about 230lbs and I had no problems getting up to speed quickly. This bike was really fun to ride. I am just getting ready to buy a house and this bike could be the difference between granite and laminate counter tops (just as an example). If you have any questions, please feel free to email, call, or text me and I'll be happy to help. This is a CASH ONLY, PICK UP ONLY sale so please do not waste your time or mine if you aren't interested. I will expect cash-in-hand before I even open the garage as this is an online auction. Thanks and happy bidding.

2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50T Classic Announced

Tue, 25 Oct 2011

During Suzuki’s annual dealer meeting the company reported that cruiser sales at large are down 6.2% YTD. However, Suzuki says its cruiser sales are up 12.5%, and in an effort to keep riding this wave that’s handily outpacing the rest of the cruiser market, the company announced the addition of the Boulevard C50T Classic. While the Classic is a carbon copy of the C50T, it does away with the C50T’s standard windshield, passenger backrest and saddlebags.
