Vintage 1975 Suzuki GT750 Water Bufalo Two-Stroke Project - Original Paint

Bike is in good original shape. It has been in dry storage since 1990 and recently discovered.  Only deviations from stock are that it appears to have had saddle bags at some point and a Mustang seat was installed.  Tank is clean with some minor surface rust that can be cleaned up.  Tank does have two dents from bikes leaning against it, but they are shallow and easily fixable while saving the original paint.  Chrome is in good shape with some minor speckling, which is to be expected on a bike this age.  Engine does kick over and have compression.  Carburetors seem to be in good condition and slides move freely.  I have not tried to start it as I'm sure it will need carbs cleaned, etc.  Mufflers are in great shape with no rust.  This is a great start to a project.  These bikes are only going to appreciate.  Bike will be sold with clear AZ title.

Buyer to pay $300 NON REFUNDABLE deposit at the end of the auction.  Balance due within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made.

Buyer to arrange shipping or pick up in Tucson, AZ.  I can deliver within a reasonable distance for a fee.

Max Biaggi loses the plot . . and very nearly his teeth !

Tue, 29 Mar 2011

I’ve just got back from Donington Park and the second round of the World Superbike championship. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.

My favourite ever BSB brolly dolly has to be Keith Flint. He joined me on the grid back in 1997 at Brands Hatch before I nailed down my second championship with two race wins. A nicer bloke you couldn't ever wish to meet so it’s good to see him out and about regularly on his Crescent Suzuki prepared GSXR 1000.

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
