Honda CB description

Up for auction is an unrestored original Vintage 1974 Honda CB125. This bike will come with a free and clear title and also still has the original tool kit. The bike only has 1,563 miles so most of the wear you will see is not mechanical and is cosmetic. The motor starts easy and runs very well. The transmission and clutch work very well and shift through all of the gears smooth and easy. I just recently disassembled the carburetor and ultrasonically cleaned it all out. The inside of the tank was sealed by the previous owner and I think it will need to be done again soon if you plan to drive this regularly. The tires will also need to be replaced if you plan to ride this because they have dry rot and cracking. The chrome has pitting and rust from sitting in storage. The seat is very nice with no rips, holes or tears and the foam is not brittle. The tank is nice but there is a tiny tiny shallow ding on the right top side. All of the electronics work but the blinkers are not working because a bulb is out (I believe that is the reason, otherwise it just needs a new flasher relay). This bike would make a great candidate to do a high end restoration because everything is clean and straight for the most part or just leave it the way it is and have a great driving bike with some patina.

Please take a look at the large pictures and video to get a better idea of condition and email me or call if you have any questions. ** Visit this link to see higher resolution larger pictures http://imageevent.com/joejo20/1974hondacb125 **

2014 WSBK – Assen Results

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
