1973 Honda CB450 K5 motorcycle. Runs and drives but will need a little bit of work to make perfect. Can be rode down the street but likes to stick at 3k rpm sometimes, could be a vacuum leak not sure.
Carbs were rebuilt by previous owner but was not ridden very much. Transmission shifts but may need to be greased, sometimes sticks in first but will shift by hand into 2nd or neutral. Starts right up every time with kick start and battery, may need a battery soon, not holding charge long. Seat has no rips and I believe it is original. Seat lock is inoperable but still installed. Gas tank holds gas with no issue, no visible rust, has a small quarter size dent on the right side. Carbs look nice and clean and new gas line have been installed. Chrome looks great could use a little cleaning. Aftermarket pipes make the bike look a little better. Some tools still available in the tool case. Can help with arranging pickup at buyers expense Clear Michigan title from 1980's for it. Let me know if you have any questions. |

Monster Energy Track Day of Legends with Schumacher, McGuinness, Espargaro and Flint – Video
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.

Tue, 25 Aug 2009Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel. There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Dovi given the 1000fps treatment
Fri, 22 Jul 2011Andrea Dovizioso describes the perfect lap from the start to the corners. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.
