Honda CB description

1972 Honda CB500 Four - with Clear Title!!

This bike gets a lot of looks. I purchased it in 2010 and it was not running when purchased, so I took to Shannon Sweeney of SS Classics in Venice Beach, California (a specialist in vintage Honda's). He took apart the whole engine and fixed the major to the minor issues and got it running like a beast. I have all the receipts in hand. In 2013 I got too busy to ride  so the bike sat in the garage unused, in Oct. 2014 I recorded it as PNO non-operated vehicle with California DMV and drained the gas out of the engine.

This is a 44 year old bike that has not been ridden in the last three years and it will probably need a new battery, gas, carb clean etc to get it running. As of now this is NOT a running bike and is being Sold “AS IS” The ignition neutral light goes on, throttle is not stuck, and the tires are still good.

I started replacing old beat up parts with new OEM parts, the old parts as seen in photo are included with the sale of the bike. I am also throwing in my Codisk Wifi Action Camera (a GoPro knock off) and accessories which I use to film my rides along Pacific Coast Highway.

INCLUDED with Sale of Bike:

OEM Honda Fuel Tank Metal Emblem, right and left

New speedometer cable

New shorter rear brake pedal

New Battery tender connector

Codisk Wifi Action Camera with accessories

Custom made splash guard.

New Engine Point Cover

New Alternator Cover

Clymer M332 maintenance & repair Book with schematics, wiring diagrams etc...

New light bulbs and covers, 1 gasket, and misc parts.

Old Parts: Long rear brake pedal,

Old School Vintage Helmet

Spare Tire

Chrome Mirrors

Old Misc parts and bolts

Side Covers left &right

The bike's normal wear and tear gives it character. There is a Dent on left side of Hodaka Gas Tank (YES, this bike has a Hodaka Gas Tank!!)

Gas Cap Threads are worn down but somehow it still screws on.

Warranty: This is a used motorcycle and is sold “as-is” with no warranty expressed written or implied from the seller.  Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs required.

US BIDDERS ONLY, please no bidders outside Continental US.

Payment: Paypal transfer Only, Payment in full must be received within 3 days of close of auction.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!!

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Honda Integra Specs Released

Tue, 25 Oct 2011

Honda has released specifications and new photographs of its new 670cc Integra motorcycle/scooter crossover which will make its public debut at the 2011 EICMA show in Milan. While the hybrid model may not be for everyone, the engine details are important as Honda has announced it will also debut two additional models at EICMA using the same power plant. The 2012 Honda Integra, named according to Honda for integrating “the ease of use of a scooter with the dynamic performance of a motorcycle”, uses an all new 670cc parallel Twin engine with a second generation version of Honda’s dual clutch transmission.

Isle of Man TT 2012: TT Zero Results – MotoCzysz Wins 100 mph Bounty

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

Third time’s a charm. 2010 and 2011 TT Zero winner MotoCzysz, with rider Michael Rutter, finally became the first to average a speed of 100 mph on the Isle of Man‘s 37.733 Mountain Course on an electric motorcycle, capturing the long-sought after 10,000 British pound (US$15,000) bounty. Wearing the #1 plate for winning last year’s TT Zero, Rutter completed the 2012 TT Zero with a time of 21:45.33 for an average speed of 104.056 mph on the new 2012 MotoCzysz E1PC.
