Honda Other description

I am not familiar with mini bikes and mopeds or scooters. I would say this is an early 80's model. Please feel free to convey information. I do know this moped is in overall excellent condition. The paint would shine with a good polishing. There was no visible dings, dents, breaks of any kind. It appears the footing piece is missing from the center. Whoever owned prior took good care of this moped. It has not run in a few years, but has been stored inside. I can take other pictures and provide no problem. I am selling for a neighbor who is liquidating sheds full of vehicles acquired in southwestern Ohio from real estate dealings, foreclosures, clean outs etc. This Honda is sold on a bill of sale. Indoor storage is free as long as need be. Payment due upon purchase. Please see my other listings this week. Thank you.

Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.

Stafford Bric-a-Brac. Misery and Sadness in excess

Just got back from the Stafford show. It was packed. Largely with groups of silver-haired men.

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
