Honda Other description

Up for bid a 1973 Honda SL350. It has 12,741 miles, and I don't think it has ever been restored. As the pictures show it really has been taken care of for the last 43 years. The man. date is 7/72. I am the third owner. I have the original bill of sale and clear title, but the second owner is from Alabama and they don't title before 1975. He never transferred it to his name, it is signed to him from the original owner. I have also the bill of sale to him. I also live in Alabama and never made any effort to get the title changed because I don't need it either. That being said all you will receive from me is a bill of sale, a copy of my tag receipt and insurance. You can have all the original paper work ( Bought in Ohio) If this is a problem for you please do not bid.

Now, the bike looks to be all original except for the coils (see pictures) All the lights work and horn and kill switch. Front tire is new, tach cable is new, air foam filters are new, rear chain is new, and battery is new. Besides this I installed new floats and needle and seats in the carbs. The carbs looked very clean for their age, and the floats were replaced because one was leaking. There is a small crack in the left side cover that wont be seen in the pictures. When I put on the front tire the brakes and hub looked very good. The back brake has little adjustment used so they are probably OK but I haven't looked. Otherwise it has small scratches in paint and aluminum fenders. The tool box cover is aftermarket. Seat lock and steering lock works, the gas tank cap lock works but you don't have to use the key to open

Now, It has a noticeable tap on the left side of the head around the tach drive when first cranked, this goes away after about 8 seconds when oil pressure is reached. It has a very slow oil leak around the shift rod or trans output, about a drop every 3 minutes. Besides this it runs strong, shifts well and doesn't smoke

Thanks for looking

This local pick up only.  Also the engine is matching # on bill of sale and is kick only. No electric start.

Two Flagstaff Residents To Ride Small Motorcycles Across Arizona For Charity

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

In June, Flagstaff residents Eva Rupert and Josh Remer will be riding vintage 100cc motorcycles across the state of Arizona to raise money for Blood:Water Mission, a Nashville non-profit that builds HIV/AIDS clinics and clean water wells in Africa. Both Josh and Eva are avid motorcyclists and wanted a way to use what they love to make a difference in the world. They see their ride as a more exciting version of a walk-a-thon.

How to solve the mystery of the wildcard replacement

Wed, 30 Jun 2010

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
