Harley-Davidson Touring description

2011 Harley Street Glide Low Miles..

To the point. Price is Firm.. Garage kept. Cleaned and Polished at All times. I'm 51 years young, don't drink or party. Adult Driven..Only by me. I bought it new. I never rode it in the rain I don't think. I have a K9 Big Dog I ride solo, with wife..we take Harley. This is my 1st dresser (stripped down) per say. BAMM, never going back. Has Tunes and wind protection. This is the BEST Color Harley has had in last 5 years. Candy Green, and Black. Has 5800 miles. Just had 5k service done 100 miles ago. That was $400. They gave me a new front tire as Original had dry rot checking? I never noticed.Only thing I ever done was add the Better Harley 2 way speakers, and detectable sissy bar/back rest.. For the wife. When I ride Harley solo, it comes off..:) I also added a Kicker 8" 150 watt powered sub in 1 of the saddle bags. Dads in Duluth installed it..$600 total cost. NOW the Tunes are Better than any other Street Glide in town. Sub can be taking out easy and quick. No trades, no offers. Every 2 years I trade up. Cost me over $7,500 to do.. My new bike be here in Nov, trade in will equal this amount I am selling for..Options: are AM/FM Radio/CD/Aux w/Speakers, Cruise Control, Oil Cooler , Security Alarm System, Abs Brakes. High book NADA Value is $19,696.. without sissy bar, sub, better speakers. 103 CI Motor, 6 speed. Great Bike.. As New in everyway..

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

Sons Of Anarchy Claims “We Basically Saved Harley.”

Wed, 12 Feb 2014

“We basically saved Harley,” says Sons of Anarchy co-star Mark Boone Jr. (Bobby) to Susan Carpenter of The Hollywood Reporter. In a time before the economic meltdown, motorcycle sales, especially for Harley-Davidson, were booming. After the collapse, sales have only started to pick up again within the past two years (at nowhere near pre-2008 levels, however).

7 Motorcycles for Those Who Can’t Stay Balanced

I remember my first bicycle. A blue frame with white handlebars and a long white banana seat for comfort. I was riding a Smurf.
