We have just done a full service and safety inspection so the bike needs nothing at all. It has a new rear tire on it as well as custom grips and an engine guard and hwy pegs and tinted windshield. The new modification for 2017 received a Milwaukee-Eight engine, a new fork and rear shock. With a dry weight of 355kg, the bike is powered by a 1750cc Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-twin engine delivering 150Nm at 3250rpm. The same unit is put not only on the Road King line, but also on other bikes from Milwaukee.

While at the time, most of the attention was on President Barack Obama, motorcycle enthusiasts would have surely noticed the one-of-a-kind 2009 Harley-Davidson Police concept Tri-Glide Ultra Classic which led the inauguration parade to the White House on January 20th. Lieutenant Scott Fear, Commander of the U.S. Park Police Motor Unit, led a dozen side car-equipped Electra Glides in a formation riding the heavily modified Trike, which was sourced by Harley-Davidson of Frederick.

Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.
