Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is an original paint Sparkling Turquoise 1971 Harley-Davidson FLH Electra-Glide with 63,000 miles.  The bike is nearly all original and fully loaded for touring the back roads and highways.  The bike runs great but has been sitting for a few years.  It could use some basic maintenacne like cleaning the carb, bleeding the rear brakes, a new battery and cleaning the clutch.  You can get on it and ride now but I'd recommend some tuning to make it a safe and reliable rider.  All numbers match.  Clean title.  Call for more details or to make an offer or request specific pics.

I remember my first bicycle. A blue frame with white handlebars and a long white banana seat for comfort. I was riding a Smurf.

Who To Watch In The AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series is set to kick off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway, and the competition looks set to be as close as ever. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.
