2014 Harley Davidson 1200 Custom, bike is in excellent shape, 1,700 miles, garage kept. I purchased the bike new in Hagerstown, MD for $14,000. I am asking $9,000 for the bike. I had the dealership install a windshield and back rest at time of purchase. I enjoyed the bike, but I stopped riding on main roads due to witnessing two horrific motorcycle accidents over the past couple of years. I will transport within one hour of 30518 with the cost of fuel incurred by purchaser. I will ship the bike, but the responsibility is on the purchaser to make necessary arrangements with transport company and pay required fees. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
