For 2006 it gets 49mm forks, new stylized low-profile suspension and cast wheels. The low-slung custom seat is less than 26" high, so it’s easy to put boots on pavement. The ride feels good thanks to pullback handlebars, mid-mount controls and highway pegs. Features include handlebar-mounted indicator lights, new tank graphics and tank-mounted speedo/tach. The Low Rider also gets the 6-speed Cruise Drive™ transmission mated to the powerful Twin Cam 88® engine. That’s plenty of go with your long and low.

This one owner 2006 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider was only ridden a low 3064 miles by its previous owner. He sold the bike to us as he just couldn't find time to enjoy riding this bike anymore. Mike Holmgren coached his last game for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, leaving behind a 4-12 record. Holmgren did lead the Seahawks to four straight division titles before this year however. In ten seasons as a head coach in the NFL, he also had three Super Bowl appearances, including a Green Bay win in 1997.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship Adds Ice Moto Competition

Editors Troy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games.
