Harley-Davidson Dyna description
2002 Harley Davidson FXD Dyna Super Glide, 32,xxx miles. We love this bike, but just don't ride it often enough. We purchased this FXD in St. Marys GA from a Navy Vet and licensed it in Alaska (we were temparily stationed in Southern GA, from Alaska). We have since moved to Jacksonville, FL but have yet to license it here.
Because we are not using the FXD we have it for sale here. Model: FXD Engine: Twin Cam 88 Displacement (cc): 1450 Cylinders: 2 Engine Stroke: 4 Speeds: 5 Speed Number of speeds: 5 Speed Dry Weight (lbs.): 612 Bike is in Good Condition for its age, and low miles for the age. Runs well. New Battery. Comes with windshield, and extra seat. Both seats and saddlebags are leather. Look well at the pictures, pictures are part of the description. Questions welcome Thank you |

Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
