This Bobber Rat Bike was professionally built by Bobber Pros of Mesa Arizona. It was built on the framework of a 1998 883 Sportster. It has a hardtail frame and a springer front end. Lots of patina with this one. I have won several trophies with this bike and it draws lots of attention wherever I go. It is a one of a kind motorcycle and you will never see another like it. Everything works as it should and it is a pleasure to ride. More photos are available. It is a tribute to The Manzanita Motorspeedway of the '50's and 60's. It is simply time to lessen the herd and It has been one of the most enjoyable motorcycles I have ever owned. I hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review
Fri, 22 Jan 2010On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.
