BMW Other description

This is a 2011 BMW S1000RR with 5800 miles on it.  I am the original owner, bought in March of 2012 at MAX BMW as new, it has a little over a year of factory warranty left.  I had installed a full Leo Vance exhaust system, K&N and R&G Frame Sliders.  This is a very clean bike that was cleaned after every ride no matter how far.  It came equip with ABS, Traction Control and Quick Shift options.  All routine maintenance through local BMW dealership.  Buyer will have to pick up or pay for shipping, payment will have to be confirmed before I ship anywhere.  Please email or call with any questions, but please only serious buyers.

BMW reported a new company record for third quarter motorcycle sales, selling 26,755 BMW motorcycles in the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012. The record result is a 1.7% increase over the 26,312 units sold in the third quarter of 2011.

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

2014 BMW R1200RT Officially Recalled in US

BMW has officially recalled the 2014 R1200RT in the U.S., after the company released a worldwide warning to customers about a potential defect with the rear suspension system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the piston rod on the R1200RT’s Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) rear shock absorber may break without warning. The problem was first discovered April 1 after a warranty claim was filed in France.
