2004 Yamaha Yzfr6s , Yamaha YZF R6. Very fast and reliable super sport bike. It has always been serviced with full synthetic oil and a K&N oil filter. The mileage is under 23K, and I have clean title in hand. Also included: the original Bill of Sale from Cochise Motorsports in Sierra Vista, Arizona, the original owner's manual, and the original riding tips booklet. The bike has extensive cosmetic issues, mainly to the right side. Some close up photos are included. All issues are purely cosmetic and do not affect functionality. Engine runs strong and smooth. I installed new spark plugs and a new K&N air filter at about 18K miles. It has Vortex clip-ons, integrated turn signals, and a Jardine slip-on exhaust system. Everything else is stock. The tires have about 60% tread. It has been just over 1000 miles since I last changed the oil and oil filter. This is a very fast, reliable, well maintained, and ready to enjoy sport bike. New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
Larry Pegram To Race EBR 1190RX In 2014 AMA Superbike
Mon, 20 Jan 2014Larry Pegram and Erik Buell Racing will be partnering up in 2014 to race an EBR 1190RX in AMA Superbike. This will be Pegram’s third different OEM in as many years, as he rode a Yamaha last year, BMW before that and Ducati in 2011. Supporting Pegram will be his long-time title sponsor, Foremost Insurance Group, along with EBR sponsors AMSOIL and Hero MotoCorp.
