Yamaha YZF-R description

The well known Anniversary Edition R6, the yellow color isn't available from the factory on any other year of this motorcycle. 

Purchased from private owner in 2011, after market spike bolt cover kit, low profile cluster turn signals and fender eliminator. Yoshimura exhaust, power commander. Adult ridden, has minor plastics damage from being knocked over, runs well, kept in a garage, waxed/cleaned often, never ridden in rain or snow.
Comes with soft shell riding jacket with removable liner and yellow Icon riding gloves (match the bike)


Buyer responsible for pick-up and shipping.  

Unless otherwise agreed upon, the bike must be shipped or picked up within 10 days. Communication is required within 24 hours, or the winning bidder risks having the item relisted. We accept certified bank checks, money orders, bank to bank wire transfers, and of course cash in person.

WSBK 2013: Nurburgring Race Report

Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
