Yamaha YZF-R description

This is a beautiful 2008 Yamaha R1 Raven Edition!

I am a motorcycle tech and have had my fair share of bikes.  I currently need money to start a business and I have no choice but to lose my pride & joy.  My R1 is in perfect condition. I have the title in my hand and it is clean and clear.  NO ACCIDENTS, NO CLAIMS!  This bike is flawless.  When I bought it, I installed a few aftermarket parts myself, as well as looking over the entire bike and doing some regular maintenance on it.  Below is a list of the parts on it and the work that has been done.

-Two Brothers Carbon Fiber Exhaust
-HID headlights (high and low beam)
-LED parking lights
-Integrated smoked taillight
-Flushmount turn signals (hotbodies smoked)
-Pazzo style Shorty Racing Levers (Black & Gold)
-OPI Racing Comfort Grips
-Smoked windscreen with radar detector mount
-seat cowl & passenger seat are included
-K & N High Flow Racing AIr Filter
-New High Performance Spark Plugs
-New High Performance Ignition Coils
-Delcron Frame Sliders
-Fresh Oil (Mobile1 4T Racing Oil)
-3D Rubber Tank Pad
-Fresh Coolant Flush (Liquid ICE racing fluid installed)
-New Battery

This bike has been meticulously taken care of.  It is in perfect condition.  The paint is factory and shines brilliantly in the sun or light.  Still has smooth high gloss finish and there are no scratches or scrapes of any kind.  The fluids are all brand new and the bike has been looked over by a bike tech....(me).  The tires are in great shape and this bike is ready to go.  2 keys, manual, tool kit, and clear title are included in this sale.  SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!  Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have about my bike.  I hate to do this, but I have reached another obstacle in life and have no other choice. Good Luck and HAPPY BIDDDING!

PS- I will do everything I can to assist with shipping.  If you go to google and search for motorcycle shippers, a quote can be easily retrieved.  Ive seen shippers ship bikes from $150 - $800 depending on location and time frames.  I work out of the house and will be available to help load the bike.  I can also take the bike to a shippers warehouse if it makes it cheaper for the winning buyer.  Any questions please email or call me or text me @ 4023121551

I will be happy to assist in anyway possible.  I have 100% feedback for a reason :)

Motogpnews.com. A blatant but worthwhile plug

Mon, 02 Aug 2010

This story was published by our friends on motogpnews.com. It's not supposed to be serious: Fiat Yamaha application form Now you can take Rossi's space The expected departure of Vale46 ™ "Fack"© Rossi from the Fiat Yamaha team at the end of the season leaves a dwarf star sized hole in the motogp stratosphere. Popular opinion places Ben Spies firmly in the saddle of the ex-yellow liveried M1, but MGPN can exclusively revel that Yamaha big bosses are worried that Ben doesn't possess the necessary character traits to step up into the role.

Wed, 16 Nov 2011

Yamaha had a relatively tame showing at the recent EICMA Milan show, with an updated TMax as the Tuning Fork Company’s biggest reveal. The upcoming Tokyo Motor Show (Dec. 3-11) promises to be more interesting with Yamaha showcasing three new concepts including the Y125 MOEGI pictured here.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Fri, 09 Sep 2011

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
