Regretfully selling my 2014 Yamaha R6 with only 9477 miles on the odometer. I bought the bike new in 2014 with a maintenance plan from the dealer which has done all scheduled maintenance on it. I have the paperwork from the service department to prove this. The bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The pictures speak for themselves. THE BIKE HAS THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES -Full M4 exhaust system including headers. Sounds very good and makes excellent power -K&N Air filter -Power Commander tuned by Yamaha of Cool Springs -Yoshimura Rear fender eliminator -Frame Sliders -HID Headlights -HotBodies Racing Smoked windscreen -Short Brake and clutch levers -Carbon Fiber Vinyl mirrors -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Tank protector -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Gas Cap trim (all pictured) The bike makes nearly 20 more hp TO THE WHEEL than a stock R6. It is very fast. I have the dyno sheets to prove this. There is nothing wrong with this bike. I am selling it in order to go back to school this fall without too much debt. Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012
Tue, 11 Oct 2011The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
