This beautiful Yamaha R-1 is a 1 owner bike. It has a Power Commander Ignition and a Graves Shorty pipe that has a throaty roar. This bike was set up professionally/dyno'd and boasts 154hp and 77fpt. With the bike comes 2 keys, owners manual, and dyno/mapping paperwork. This bike is not for the faint at heart! The bike has the LED hideaway front signals and the rear signals are LED's built into the brake light. In addition to the matching matte grey rear tail cover you will also get the factory seat. The bike was just serviced and has a brand new Michelin Pilot Power up front. The R-1 has the Moto-GP traction control system and the D-Mode electronic throttle response control. The powerplant is a fuel injected and liquid cooled in-line 4 cyl with a 6-speed tranny and chain drive. The front brakes offer dual disks and 6 piston calipers while the rear brakes are single disk with single caliper. Weight is 454 lbs wet. This bike contains both the "beauty and the beast." Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.

Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.
