Yamaha YZF-R description

This is a very rare and one of a kind opportunity to own a babied mint condition Yamaha R1 with incredibly low miles. I purchased this bike from Pocono Motorsports in 2007, went from there showroom to my living room. This has the very powerful and rare 5valve engine, in my opnion the best looking R1 made yet. This bike still has the original tires, chain sprockets etc. There is however some very tasteful modifications, Termignoni Italian dual exhaust, smoked windshield, lowering links, hot bodies flush led signal lights front and rear, tank guard, stand spools. Just had brand new spark plugs and oil change done... I hate to part ways with this bike,  but I recently moved and need to part ways with a few toys.

Bike will come with all stock parts and paperwork from dealer, it did come with the extended 5year warranty but was never used.

we are new to ebay so we do not have much of a feedback rating, you can call or text me with any questions or for pictures (570)313-6712

Yamaha TCROSS. This was a TMAX

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Great looking girl, crazy bike. This TCROSS started life as a T-Max but it was given to a former motorcycle designer and former MotoGP mecahanic to turn it into something unique as part of Yamaha's Hypermodified series. They've certainly managed to make it unique.

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

Yamaha Files Trademark Application for FJ-09

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Yamaha‘s next three-cylinder motorcycle may be a sport-tourer, if a recently-filed trademark application is any indication. The Tuning Fork brand filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the name “FJ-09” as it applies to “Motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled scooters and structural parts for all the aforesaid goods.” Following Yamaha’s usual naming conventions, the signs indicate the trademark will be for a new sport-touring model using the same Triple as the FZ-09. Yamaha has made it clear it plans to introduce more three-cylinder engines following the FZ-09 (or MT-09, as it is known in Europe.) Previously-filed trademark applications for the YZF-R3 and R3 names raised speculation the next triple would be a sportbike, but as per Yamaha’s usual naming convention, the “3″ in R3 is likelier to refer to the engine displacement rather than the number of cylinders.
