Up for auction a 2005 Yamaha R1 Raven, I am selling only because Im starting a new business and need a new truck and tools more than a bike right now. As you can see its in great condition. Mature Adult 2 owner bike, heated garage stored in winters. New Pirelli Angel GT high speed rated tires with approx 1800 highway miles. Bike has 18,040 mostly highway miles with several trips to Indianapolis @ 1000 miles per long weekend trip. Brake fluids flushed and replaced, Oil changed and 58 point safety inspection completed when tires were replaced. Willing to personally ship up to 500 miles from Iowa City Iowa for $1 loaded mile. His two WSB race wins there in 2010 were pretty special as he dominated on the factory Yamaha R1, not least as he used some alternative lines and every inch of the track along the way. With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.
