'00 Yamaha YZF-R1
This is a second generation R1, and still one of the fastest bikes on the road. It will scare you and delight you... I love this bike but I need to make room in the garage. I'm the second owner and know its history since new. It's fast, beautiful, and I hope to find it a good home. There is minor cosmetic damage to the decals on the left side due to a trailer mishap. The bike has been stored inside, well maintained, with fuel stabilizer every winter and a battery tender always. |

Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.

Sun, 09 Apr 2017Yamaha's roadster now has one more achievement on the long list - this time the bike was awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award for design. It is the fifth in a row for this model and the fifth for the company. Not bad huh!
