Crowned MX Action's 2002 " 80cc of the Year" (in its very first year, no less), this potent little screamer is everything the budding young factory racer could ask for. Small-bore world domination starts right here. With a liquid-cooled, 85cc, case-reed, two-stroke engine putting down wicked, corner-launching low- and mid-range power and blistering top-end through a slick-shifting 6-speed transmission. Seamless throttle response is provided at all RPM by way of its 28mm Keihin flat-slide carb. And race-bred chassis design - featuring a rigid, lightweight twin-spar frame and swingarm, and adjustable, YZ250/125-spec suspension - that lets you soak up the whoops. Recall for 2009-2011 Yamaha V-Max
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha is issuing a recall campaign on certain 2009-2011 V-Max power cruisers due to a potential risk of oil pump malfunction. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, abnormally high oil pressure can build up within the oil pump of certain Yamaha V-Max models. The high pressure may force the washer on the oil pump shaft against the oil pump housing, causing oil to stop pumping through the engine.
2013 Yamaha XJ6, XJ6 Diversion Updated for European Market
Thu, 30 Aug 2012Yamaha has revealed an updated version of its XJ6 including its faired Diversion and Diversion F versions for the European market. The XJ6 models were first introduced in Europe in 2009 as the latest member of Yamaha‘s XJ series and a replacement for the FZ6 as a middleweight all-arounder. In recent years however, Yamaha Motor USA decided to keep the slightly sportier FZ6R in its lineup and pass on the XJ6 models.

The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.
