We've forged a totally new machine from the Dunlops up. With features like an all-new, liquid-cooled, 5-titanium valved 449cc single, with a completely redesigned automatic decompression system for easy-starting. An all-new 4-speed transmission and a beefed up clutch with larger, stronger plates. Lighter weight frame and swingarm. Completely revised suspension, stronger brakes and more aggressive ergos and styling. And its incredible weight loss makes it harder-hitting and sharper handling than ever.

The controversial cut through the famous Corkscrew was arguably the most dramatic moment of the 2008 MotoGP season (and ironically, recreated this year, with Marc Marquez turning the tables on Rossi).

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.
