Yamaha YZ description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING.

Up for auction, a 1981 YZ 80. I bought this bike a few years ago for display purposes only. It did start & run when I bought it, but hasn't been started since. I have NO intention of trying to start it or speculating on it's running condition. This IS NOT a show bike!! It was repainted, and has some minor rust spots on it. Please look at the pic carefully before bidding. Many of the parts including the wheels have been painted silver. It does look coll on display, but it is NOT a fully restored bike. I belive it needs a new throttle cable, and the owner said that the kick starter intermittently skips.

Shipping is the buyers responsibility. I will not package or crate the bike. It will be picked up as it is seen. You need to make your own shipping arrangements, and I will not be responsible for it after it leaves my driveway.

Please ask any questions before bidding. I am not an expert on these, but will try and help as much as I can.

there is no paperwork with this bike

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
