Yamaha XS tech info
Yamaha XS description
1974 Yamaha XS650. Clear Illinois title in hand, titled as 1974 Yamaha so insurance is cheap and can be registered as antique automobile based on year. Motorcycle features Custom Built frame with stock Yamaha neck. 43 degree rake and minimal drop seat. Top end of motor rebuilt about 400 or so miles ago. Bike has been featured in Dice Magazine issue #24 Built by Troy Critchlow of Seattle WA. Bike is extremely fun to ride and comfortable. Feels like a powerful BMX bike once you get going. Previous owner / builder had ridden this bike from Seattle to San Diego. I personally have ridden this bike around Baja Mexico for 5 days in 2011 and featured in the Biltwell Inc El Diablo Run Movie. No longer get to ride this as much as I should so it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Motor is completely stock. Dual Mikuni carbs, Firestone BiasPly repop tires. Have never had any problems and starts on first 3-4 kicks. Straight pipes without baffles in the exhaust. Please feel free to ask any questions.

The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.

Build your own Yamaha VMax
Tue, 15 Jun 2010For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.
