Selling my 2012 Yamaha WR250R Dual Sport bike. Has 8,250 miles on it, about 60/40 of those miles commuting/trail riding. It's in good mechanical condition and it has every performance mod you could want with the exception of a big bore kit. Currently has a set of Michelin Starcross MS3 tires on it, also included are fresh set of Dunlop D605 Dual Sport tires. Oil has been changed every 1K miles with full synthetic. Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012
Tue, 11 Oct 2011The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
King Kenny Roberts at Laguna Seca
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Fans of “King” Kenny Roberts will be in for a treat as the three-time World Champion will ride not once, not twice but three times at Laguna Seca during the 2011 U.S. Grand Prix, July 22-24. As previously announced, Roberts would join Eddie Lawson and about 200 fans in riding parade laps of the Monterrey, Calif., circuit on the Friday, July 22.
