This vintage 1987 Yamaha is an excellent cruiser. Shaft drive. Included are a lot of extras with this bike. 2 extra tires (usd), original exhaust, bike cover, extra oil filters, oil, gear grease, choice of 2 of the helmets in picture, and various other extras. Bike has always been garage kept. Averages approx. 45 mpg. 13,788 original miles (receipts to proves mileage). Extras on the bike: high rise windshield, luggage rack, driving lights, highway bars, new saddle bags (old ones go with it too), Jardine exhaust (sounds awesome). Title must be transferred at time of purchase, at buyers expense (PA laws). Bike is a classic and runs great ! |

Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
