Yamaha Vino tech info
Yamaha Vino description
This listing is for 2008 Yamaha Vino 125cc Scooter. It's sold for parts only with salvage title by private seller.
Scooter is complete but doesn't run. We've had it for a couple of years with the intention to get it running but somehow we never found the time to finish this project. We got it as a spare with salvage title which indicates it was in an accident but we do not know what exactly happened. Decided to clean up our garage since we have another identical one that works. Scooter used to run over a year ago, might need carburetor cleaning to start, engine is good if you can get it to start. Scooter can be either parted out or repaired if you can give it some tlc. Body has scratches so definitely needs to be painted. Brakes and tires have wear and tear so will have to be replaced. Scooter is sold as is, no warranty and no returns. Please buy responsibly, once you click buy it now you legally commit to this purchase. Please call (seven seven three four three one nine one zero seven) or message if you have any questions before purchase. Buyer is responsible for pick up/shipping, we can help with shipping arrangements upon request. Local buyers are welcome for in person inspections before purchase. Thanks for looking! |

2013 Yamaha XJ6, XJ6 Diversion Updated for European Market
Thu, 30 Aug 2012Yamaha has revealed an updated version of its XJ6 including its faired Diversion and Diversion F versions for the European market. The XJ6 models were first introduced in Europe in 2009 as the latest member of Yamaha‘s XJ series and a replacement for the FZ6 as a middleweight all-arounder. In recent years however, Yamaha Motor USA decided to keep the slightly sportier FZ6R in its lineup and pass on the XJ6 models.
Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale
Thu, 15 Nov 2012The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.
