Yamaha V Star description

I am the third owner of this 2005 Yamaha V-Star Classic XVS650. It is a shaft-driven 5-speed with a 4.2 gallon tank and aftermarket pipes. It is air-cooled and very easy to maintain! I change the oil every 1000 miles and only use Full Synthetic.

This bike is mechanically excellent and I try to ride at least once a week. In the three years I've owned it, I've put a little over 4700 miles on it but I've recently had a second child and finding time to ride is getting more and more difficult.

It would make an excellent first bike; it's fairly light compared to other cruisers in its category and the seat height is probably the lowest to the ground you'll find.

Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
