hello you are looking at 2001 yamaha 650 v star.This bike only has 526 miles.One owner bike. This bike has a lot of yamaha brand upgrades.DG performance pipes with carb kit/ winshild/studed seat/chrome seat ring/lugage rack/turn signal eyelashes/ chrome engine gaurds/running boards/ custom pinstripe. The color is purple. The gas tank dose have one small ding on the top. I put new battery and cleaned carbs. Runs very well. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

Yamaha U.S. Increasing Club Level Road Racing Contingency

The state of road racing in America is hurting, there’s no doubt about that. But at least Yamaha is stepping up to the plate and increasing its contingency program for club level road racers 50% over last year. According to Yamaha, the program is designed to encompass a broad spectrum of road racing series across the U.S., from numerous club-level and regional sprint series events to the AMA Pro Road Racing series, including the addition of the ASRA Team Challenge Endurance Series.
