It has 1854 cc and as cruiser's go it is second to no other cruisers that cost 4 times as much. these Stratoliner S models are hands down the worlds best touring machines for the money and are super reliable . Thu, 14 Feb 2013Yamaha reported a 5.4% decrease in net sales for 2012 and a 72.2% decrease in profit but the Japanese manufacturer says it is poised for a dramatic recovery as it begins its “New Medium-Term Management Plan” for 2013-2015. Coinciding with the start of its new business plan, Yamaha is adopting a new brand slogan: “Revs your Heart“. Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.
