Yamaha Roadliner description

1854cc air cooled V-Twin motor with some badass BMS side pipes. The bike is loud, strong, fast and Yamaha reliable! This bike has well over $10,000 in extras including a beautiful custom paint job with black and red scheme, Corbin solo seat (rear suction cup seat for passenger is included), custom wheels with matching chromed custom brake rotors and matching custom drive belt pulley, Metzeler tires with 240 kit on the rear and custom rear fender, sideways mounted license plate bracket, Kuryakyn LED Torpedo rear lights, and more. This bike also has forward controls with custom machined rider and passenger footpegs which move the rider's feet forward a few inches. You need to have long legs and/or be 6' plus to ride this bike as it is configured, or you can return it back to factory locations. This garage-stored bike is a real head turner and has only 4297 miles on it as of this ad being written. This motorcycle is not for beginners or dreamers. Serious inquiries only please. Email me for video if you want to see and hear it run. I will help with transfer by delivering bike to shipping terminal within a reasonable distance. I will also be willing to discuss trailer delivery to your door, depending on distance from Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Test rides will be discussed on individual basis. The bike is not registered, inspected or insured so you will need to buy it without test riding or else bring payment for bike which I hold while you ride. If you decide you do not want it and return it without any damage, I give you your cash back. This protects both of us and ensures that you are serious and not just looking to take my bike for a joy ride.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.

Three-Time World Champion Wayne Rainey Honored At Quail Motorcycle Gathering

Thu, 09 May 2013

Saturday, May 4 marked the 5th annual Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Carmel, California. With such a diverse collection of historical, rare and outrageous motorcycles, the Quail is an event we thoroughly enjoyed attending last year. To commemorate the occasion, this year’s guest of honor was none other than three-time 500cc Grand Prix world champion, and local area resident, Wayne Rainey.
