style. Bike has never been wrecked. I would drive this bike to California if I had a reason to do so, it is that reliable. Mileage is 30,000. These engines routinely last well over 100,000 miles. The oils have been changed every 3000 to 4000 miles and only the best synthetics were used. Engine does not drip oil. Tires have Dyna-Beads installed and the ride is tire vibration free. The engine being a large bore V-twin does vibrate at idle, as they all do. Smooth as silk on the highway.

Three years later, Yamaha has released a follow-up featuring its current MotoGP lineup of Lorenzo, Ben Spies, Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso (with King Kenny Roberts lunchbox in tow). Tech3 Yamaha racer Crutchlow takes over his predecessor Edwards’ spot as a Yamaha security guard, but throws his own British spin on the job.
