Yamaha Raider description

This cruiser bike is in attractive shape and runs like new. It is a 2008 Yamaha Raider S package, which means it has some good looking chrome all over. It has 10,868mis on it so it is just broke in. Add ons include Cobra Swept pipes (make a great rumble that is not over the top), windshield, and zipp off bags. The tires will probably have to be replaced sometime within the next season or 2 but work just fine. My price reflects the tires and is the lowest on Craigs and within the region. Take look around. I love the bike, but my wife wants something more touring like so I want to move to something else. I am not interested in trades and this a cash buy only. Give me an email soon. I don't think it will last long. You will not be disappointed in this bike. Good ride, awesome look, and unbelievable power (1900cc)! Thanks for your time and consideration in advance.yamaha raider, yamaha road star, yamaha stratoliner, yamaha vstar, yamaha stryker, yamaha roadliner, honda fury, honda shadow, honda vtx, honda stateline, honda sabre, kawasaki meanstreak, suzuki m109r, suzuki intruder

Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results

Wed, 12 Feb 2014

Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.

Yamaha Files Suit Over Scooter Design

Yamaha has filed a lawsuit against a pair of Japanese companies alleging their electric scooter copies the design of the Yamaha Gear BX50 scooter. The Yamaha Gear  BX50 (pictured left above) is a 50cc four-stroke scooter sold in Japan as a commercial-use model, aimed for small business such as newspaper distributors. Yamaha has been offering the BX50 (and the BX50N variant) since 2007, selling 39,917 units as of December 2011.
