Up for Sale is a 1973 Yamaha RD350. Clear Title. 6,493 miles. Matching Numbers 351-117594. It does not run. Motor is stuck. Shifts through the gears, Front brake needs a rebuild. Rear works as it should, Front and rear fenders have no dents. Seat has a rip towards the back, Pan is solid. Motor has no damage. Has Been Sitting since 1985. Looks to be mostly complete, missing the blinkers and rubber y boot. Overall chrome shows rust/ pitting. Paint is nice. Side cover has no cracks. Tank has some small dings. Inside shows some rust. No signs of it being down. Good candidate to restore.You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. 2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results

Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.

Yamaha Announces AMA Road Racing Teams For 2013

Today, Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, has announced its U.S. road racing teams to compete in the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Racing season, which kicks off in March at the famed Daytona International Speedway.  Superbike In the AMA Pro National Guard Superbike division, Yamaha is fielding “Team Josh,” as three-time and defending class champion, Josh Hayes once again teams up with Josh Herrin, the 2012 AMA Rookie of the Year. Despite setting single-season records for the most SuperBike wins, the most consecutive SuperBike wins, and the most SuperBike poles, the elder Josh hasn’t lost any of his competitive fire. During the off-season, Josh signed a two-year contract to stay with Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha because he loves the team and he still feels that he’s got a lot of unfinished business to attend to.
