Yamaha Other description
One last relist. If it doesn't sell this time, I will just keep it. This is a really nice bike and one of the last of its kind to survive in this condition.
Up for sale, a very nice 1972 Yamaha DS7 250cc twin cylinder street bike. This bike is bone stock factory and is in beautiful condition running and shifting perfectly. I just had it professionally tuned with new plugs, points, condensers, timing to 1.8 BTDC, and carbs cleaned and synced with new gaskets and oil pump set. Petcock overhauled, new fuel lines and filters, new battery, new tank badges and new rubber carb boots. I had the tank cleaned and professionally repainted. Its a little darker than the headlight bowl and side covers, but looks great none the less. I put on a new clutch and front brake cables as well. Seat is perfect, no holes or tears. No rust anywhere, and has original Yamaha mirrors. This bike runs strong, and has no noises, vibrations or leaks anywhere. The chrome shines bright all over. The only negative is some scratches in the black paint on the engine cases from normal wear. You will have pure fun riding it. I will sell it with a new inspection sticker. I have the title, but not in my name, but will supply with a bill of sale from the original seller and from me.
I will take this bike to the shipper of your choice within the Dallas-Fort Worth area free of charge and drop it off if you arrange the drop off and pay all shipping charges. I can put it in the shipping container at the shippers warehouse, tie it down and lock it up for you at no charge. Just let me know where to take it and the point of contact. You can personally pick it up at my office in North Fort Worth if you like.
For more info, you can call me at 817-703-8001. I take all credit cards thru my company.

AMA Superbike Racer Larry Pegram To Race On Four Wheels This Weekend
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing SuperBike rider Larry Pegram will be back in racing action this weekend but, instead of being aboard his familiar #72 Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike, Larry will be behind the wheel of a PRO Buggy sponsored by RealTree Outdoor Energy Drink. The PRO Buggy class features rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, purpose-built racing buggies with lots of suspension travel and lots of horsepower. Pegram is no stranger to car racing, having done a few road racing events last year, but he’s excited about the opportunity to kick up some mud this weekend at RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI, as part of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series.
