UP FOR BID IS MY 1974 YAMAHA RD 350  TORQUE INDUCTION 6 SPEED MOTORCYLE. I HAVE OWN THIS BIKE SINCE NEW AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE. CYCLE HAS NOT BEEN LICENSE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND ITS BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE AND NOW IT IS TIME TO GO. IT PROBABLY COULD USE A TUNE-UP, CHAIN AND SPROCKET AND TIRES. THERE ARE SOME FLAWS, DENT IN FRONT FENDER, SMALL DING IN GAS TANK, MISSING REFLECTOR ON BACK, AND VERY MINOR SURFACE RUST ON FRAME. I HAVE HAD IT RUNNING AND DROVE IT AROUND THE YARD. A GREAT BIKE TO RESTORE OR DRIVE. IT USE TO GET ABOUT 38 MPG AND 105 MPH. NOT TO THRILLED TO SELL BUT HOSPITAL BILLS NEED TO BE PAID. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.

Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010,  according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
