Yamaha Other description

V-Star 1100 Custom for saleThis really is a great and reliable bike, but it's time for me to move on because I just bought another bike and there's no reason for me to have 2 motorcycles. I'm the original owner and have done all the maintenance, customization and paint/airbrushing work on it, except for the pipes and jet kit. Custom paint job is flat black with gloss black pin-striping. I've been painting bikes for a living for over 7 yrs now.The pipes make this bike sound nice and mean, but she's a smooth ride. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. . . And I really mean it because it has a suicide clutch and jockey shift. If you don't know what that is, then you can't test ride it, so please don't call about this bike unless you are not afraid of a suicide clutch.• Recently deep-cleaned carburetors• Wrapped Pipes• Pipes are mean-sounding BUB Jug huggers and flow with a Kuryakyn air breather with a K&N filter. • Foot controls are extended 5.5" forward with cleat pegs and Foot Clutch Pedal. • Dual front brakes. • Front forks are 6" over and the tops of the forks are the risers. • Bars are LSL clip-ons. • Rear lowering kit is set at 2", but has settings at 1" increments, all the way to 5" which then becomes a ridged. • Tail light is a Radiantz flex strip with 100 LEDs (super bright,) as are the signals. • Signals are installed, but not hooked up. • Side mount license plate. • Black canvas military saddle bags• The seat has a 2" drop and narrowed 2".• Passenger seat was reshaped and shortened 2".Price is $3900 OBO. Call or text, and please leave a message with the latest time of day I can return your call because I work late. Again, serious inquiries only. Thank you.

Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.

This Is How You Ride A 125cc Two-Stroke + Video

Fri, 09 May 2014

It’s too bad two-stroke motorcycles are quickly declining. The lightweight and hard-hitting machines are a blast to ride. They’re all but gone from the street scene (thanks emission laws), but thankfully you can still find some on the dirt side.

2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 Color and Graphic Options Announced

Thu, 13 Sep 2012

Those of you hoping for an updated Yamaha YZF-R6 will have to wait for at least another year, as Yamaha announced the 599cc sportbike is returning for 2013 unchanged except for new colors and graphics. Yamaha last updated the R6 in 2008, equipping it with the company’s Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-T) variable-length intake system. The lack of any significant updates to the 2013 R6 must be disappointing to Yamaha fans, especially as the color updates were announced the same day Kawasaki is expected to reveal a new 636cc ZX-6R.
