2009 Yamaha V-Star 1300 Tourer , color red. I'm the second owner. It has been in the rain one time since I have owned it. The windshield sissy bar and bags are standard on this model. Reason for selling going to a Harley. Never had any issues with the bike runs very smooth I have ran moble one fully synth. V twin oil in it.. Progressive springs in the forks makes a nice improvement in the handing $90. K and N air cleaner $60. selling as is no warranty. Yamaha Reports Q2 2012 Results

Yamaha has lowered its 2012 year-end sales forecast by 14.3% after reporting disappointing first half results. The Japanese manufacturer reported a profit of 14.5 billion yen (US$184.3 million), a 49.8% decrease from a profit of 29 billion yen reported in the first half of 2011. According to the company’s financial report for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, Yamaha‘s net sales totaled 632.2 billion yen (US$8.04 billion), a 4.6% decrease from net sales of 663.1 billion yen reported in the same quarter of 2011.

2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 Faces Recall for High Engine Idle

Yamaha has initiated recalls on the 2010 R1 in several markets because of a problem with the wiring harness causing high idle speeds. As of this writing, recalls have been announce for Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. No recall has been announced for the U.S.

Only owning perforated summer gloves is also far from ideal. This is the situation I found myself in and seeing as everything in Italy costs a million Euros, I wasn’t prepared to spend a fortune on a set of discontinued Oxford heated grips from the local motocross shop.  A very pretty girl called Fanny at Chitrrai Yamaha, near Perugia, showed me the winter glove options.
