Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU Concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Of the concept models Yamaha announced it would introduce at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, it was the heavy-duty looking XTW250 RYOKU concept that drew the most attention from our readers. Yamaha Signed On As Presenting Sponsor For Three-Event GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout

Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., is proud to announce that it has signed on as sponsor for the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented By Yamaha, a three-event championship motorcycle road racing series that includes the Yamaha SoCal Nationals at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on April 26-27; the Pacific Nationals at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA on May 3-4; and the Mountain Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT on May 24-25. 2015 Yamaha YZF-R25 Revealed for Indonesian Market

Yamaha revealed the production version of its 250 sportbike, the two-cylinder YZF-R25. Manufactured in Indonesia, the R25 will first be offered in that market before being exported to other markets including other Asian countries as well as developed markets in the west. The production model stays close to the prototype R25 revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show last fall.
