Yamaha Other description

Derry Cycle is selling a 2007 Yamaha Majesty (Model # YP400WL) in blue with only 4,790 mis on the odometer. This is 1 of those bikes that is part scooter and part motorcycle, meaning it has a scooter "step through" design and automatic transmission but has a fullsize frame and engine like a regular motorcycle. Because of that, you can not only ride around town, but you can also get up on the highway and cruise at higher speeds. The Majesty is fuel injected and Yamaha rates the fuel economy at 50MPG. If you are driving a truck or SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE, it can pay for it'self in fuel savings in a reasonable amount of time. This particular Majesty has been well cared for both cosmetically and mechanically. It sarts easily, and runs & drives just as it should. The bike is completely stock and unmolested by any backyard "mechanics" It has a very large underseat storage container and 2 smaller ones up front. New ones are running close to $7,000 nowerdays, so you can get a nice pre-owned 1 here and have just as much fun for half the price. The service department has gone through every major and minor system on the bike as required by their 153 point comprehensive inspection process, and she passed with flying colors. We work with nine different credit unions to offer financing, and we are accepting trade ins toward the purchase of this bike. Please email or call Ken @ 603-437-XXXX with any questions you have. We also purchase Harleys, Sportbikes, and ATV's for CA$H.www.derrycycle.com to see more photos of this bike, and look at all of our bikesThank you

You. Call. That. Lean

Fri, 14 May 2010

Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.

- Honda Motor Company Limited - Yamaha Motor Company Limited - Hero MotoCorp Limited - Bajaj Auto Limited - Harley–Davidson Incorporation According to Research And Markets, who bill themselves as “The World’s Largest Market Research Store,” these are the top five companies of the global motorcycle industry, with data collected from 2006 – 2011. The study itself is several chapters deep and must be purchased (you can do so at the link above), but in short, Research And Markets have compiled a study observing the evolving global motorcycle industry, its competitive landscape, and the corporate and marketing strategies adopted by the motorcycle companies as some of the factors to have remarkably impacted the global motorcycle industry dynamics. Developing regions, such as Asia and Latin America, which perceive two-wheelers as a basic mode of transportation, are expected to remain the most promising markets for scooters, light motorcycles, and mopeds.

2012 Yamaha YZ450F Announced

Thu, 09 Jun 2011

Yamaha gave its YZ450F a major update for 2010 with its reversed engine layout so it should be no surprised the motocrosser received just a few updates for 2012. Besides the usual graphical updates, the 2012 Yamaha YZ450F receives a new exhaust system to meet 94dB competition requirements. Fuel injection settings have also been tweaked for smoother response at low to mid revs.
